The free version keeps up to 30 distinct products in stock at once. Multiple packages of the same product count as one product. Premium removes the limit.

Each package of a product can have its own date and storage place. Mark opened or partly used packages individually so Today shows the right package first.

Wastee looks up product details on Open Food Facts. If your product is missing, enter it by hand. Batch scanning for several products in a row is part of Premium.

Use good lighting and hold the package steady. Reflections or unclear printing can affect recognition. Check the suggested date and correct it if needed. You can also enter it by hand.

Check that notifications are allowed for Wastee in iOS Settings; reminders are scheduled locally on your iPhone. Widgets show items with a date. After a change, iOS can take a moment to refresh the widget.

A JSON backup saves your inventory so you can restore it later, for example on a new iPhone. Photos are not included. CSV export is meant for spreadsheets; use the JSON backup to restore.

Existing Premium purchases remain valid. Use restore in Wastee Settings with the Apple Account you purchased with.

You can reset local app data in Wastee Settings. Exported files and backups must also be removed wherever you saved or shared them.
